Johanna Koskinen
I'm Johanna, a Himalayan Kriya and Hatha Yoga teacher, artist, mother, and lifelong explorer of the mysteries of life.
I feel that some of life's greatest realizations have been learning to find balance, having the courage to be truly myself, falling and getting back up, understanding death and letting go as natural parts of life, and learning to live more fully in the present moment — always remaining open to learning something new.
I have journeyed through some very deep waters within the depths of the human mind and found my way back to my feet. Through that journey, I've realized how much strength and power lives within each and every one of us. Now, I share my own soul's journey from a place of that awareness.
Meditation and yoga have been part of my everyday life for almost 10 years, and only in recent years have they also become part of my professional path. I have always been fascinated by the body and movement. I've practiced dance, and in the past I also competed in sports, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and American football.
